Maybe not the answer your looking for, but I would suggest a set of Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tires for your GS or Z06.
Good ride quality
Quiet
Good traction
Good tread wear rating (320)
Best of all .... there cheap !

$ 918 (set of 4 tires in the GS size) to the door

Dumped the GY's on my GS @ 9500 miles for the Bridgestone RF's. Now have 32,500 miles on the car and the front's look like new and the rears are not down to the wear bars yet.

Been running the B-Stones on my GS since I bought the car when it had 21K miles on it. It had a set of non RFT tires on it that were great but out here in the sticks you better have some RFT's. So put on a set of Potenzas and put over 30K miles on them and just getting them replaced this spring. The rears wore out first......and it wasn't the tread depth which is still good on them but they started making noise going down the highway. So put them on last season and will replace the fronts tires this spring. Good all around tire. about 1600 bucks for the set.

Michelin because I like them. They are good on the track (I have used them at Spring Mountain), they are good on the road, good grip and quiet, and they provide piece of mind regarding flats - been there done that. I have Michelins on both Vettes, the wife's Lexus and they will be the replacement tire for my QX70S when they are needed.

I chose Bridgestones for mine, AFTER having Michelins first, initially because they were designed specifically for the C6 Z06.
Then after using them (2 sets) I found they gave better cold and wet weather traction than the comparable Michelins.
They also kept very good traction thru their entire tread life (about 25 - 30k miles), where the Goodyear GEN2s and Michelins dropped off on traction as they got older.
They were also just as quiet as the Michelins, and quite a bit cheaper to purchase.
I will continue to use them.
NOTE - you will see if you search on my name that I have Cooper Zeons on it now. I strayed and have regretted it, and will be going back to the tried and proven tire for me

I bought a 370 z for my wife. I hated the ride and the noise so I wouldn't drive it. When she wore out the tires I put on Hankook because they were cheaper. Totally different car driving home. Now I have the hankook on the vet and have fun with both cars

I have BS Pole Positions on my 13 GS and love them so far. Have 3500 miles on them and zero complaints, I'd buy them again. I bought them for the price and ratings.

I have Pilot Super Sport's with 22,000 miles on them and they look as though I'll get another 10,000 miles. They are damn good road tires. My original Goodyear Runflat Supercar's lasted 18,000 miles. The Michelins have a much more comfortable ride.

So, as a new owner of a 2012GS with those horrible Goodyear’s on the car. How does everyone feelabout either run flats or not? Would just like to get some opinions. Will need toreplace tires soon so trying to get some input. Tkx Mike

Mine isn't a GS, but I have Pilot Super Sport's (or whatever the All Season Run Flats are) on mine. I have just a tad over 45000 miles on them. They are getting replaced next week with a new set of Michelins

I got the bridgestones it was a tuff choice but it came down to being stuck on the side of the highway and put my life in the hand of drunk drivers or texters doing twice the speed limit while waiting for assistance with my wife or one of my kids in the car. I said what am I nuts not worth it!!

I'm still trying to wear out the GY run flats.... Fronts are finally close enough to start planning my smoke show video...... I'm very tempted to go Non run flat..... And the reviews of the Ventus are tempting also...... And I know this sounds a little foolish, because you don't buy tires for the looks....but most of the tread patterns for our cars look crappy.... The Ventus are very aggressive in appearance, and if they can give good year round normal street performance, good ride quality, at half the price?..... I guess they shouldn't be considered off brand, but it deff is not a brand I would have been looking at without the chatter on this forum..... Any bad feedback I should know about?
