Default Warmer than usual but no quite Corvette weather

Here in Western New York there are days that feel very Spring like and I start thinking about getting my Vette out of winter storage. The a few days later it's in the 20's and there is more salt on the roads. Back in the '80's and '90's I had to wait until May to get salt free roads. But in recent years mid April works. Now the talk is about March if and when we get some good soaking rains to clean off winter's remains. Personally I have no problem with a little global warming at this time of the year.

I'm not too far from you(Philadelphia). It's been a mild winter, maybe a total of 2 weekends I didn't drive my GS because of snow on the ground. Once the rain washes the salt away during the week my car is back out on the weekend.

Had mine out last week, high around 70, new records. This weekend low of 1, wind chill below zero. Back covered, tender back on.

Only hit 33 here today in eastern NY but I went for a ride anyway. Last Fridays rain cleared the roads nicely but it just started snowing, so more salt.

Last week, the weather was warmer, but, the roads are still full of sand and salt. So, I had to temper my desire to drive it.
Today, we've had some snow and it's suppose to go down to single digits for the weekend. Probably have to wait another month. Living in the Catskill Mountains in NYS is spectacular, but, the winter roads suck!

Fired mine up on Thursday from the 3 month sleep & took her for a ride, roads were dry & relatively free from any salt

"Relatively free of salt" is like being "relatively free" of cancer.

Never too cold here to drive it; right now it's goldilocks weather for top off/down driving ... not to cold, not to hot

I moved from Connecticut to Arkansas to get warm. It worked. Been diving my car daily since I bought it. Saw some flurries a few times. But 70 and sunny today.

Here in the DMV, I'm not really sure that we are having winter.

Mind you, I'm not complaining.

Pretty much, every other day is top-down weather!

Looks like for the second weekend in a row, winter weather is making a comeback. This after the warmest February on record for Western New York State. This roller coaster weather is really frustrating.

Winter really let up here about 15 Feb but right now it's clearly spring complete with high winds. Temps will remain swinging 30 degrees from about 74 - 45 or so. Good for sports cars and bikes.
