Mostly '05's, some '06's and '07's. It seemed to be predominantly LS2 cars but there have been posts here about a few LS3 cars that allegedly had the problem. I think your '11 should not concern you but as long as you know the issue just keep checking it periodically or wait for the belt squeak.

All LS motors from 1997 on.
Of course olders ones are going to be more common to fail as they are older and typically higher mileage. The rubber wears out sooner or later. It doesn't matter if it is a 2013 or 1997.

All of them. It is a poor design that was used un-changed through 2013

Our 2009 had a very slight wobble from day one, but not much and didn't get worse until somewhere around 85k miles, then it started going downhill and I had it replaced under the extended warranty.
Of course, the dealer failed to tighten the steering cradle bolts properly and about 10k later the steering was getting loose and sloppy. Quickly diagnosed and fixed by a different dealer while we were on vacation.

If you are going to have the vehicle for any significant amount of time, plan on having it replaced. All C6 year models are going to have some failure in the HB. Im in the middle of replacing mine now...not really a fun project.

This is probably the all time most common bitch by many LSX powered car owners. Absolute stupid that GM didn't correct it early in production. LS1's had the problem show up 18 years ago.

The balancer on my 09 with 80K miles just went bad ( or maybe I just noticed it).
Where do you guys recommend buying a new replacement?
My car is SC so would you guys recommend a ATI super damper instead?

Exactly the reason GM lost billions of dollars in sales to Honda Toyota Subaru and the like. I bought 2 Chrysler minivans. I got tired of it being in the shop. In 2007 Honda had the best rated van. I would have got the Chevy venture van but the crash test was poor. I like driving American brands. The Honda has been far better than the Chrysler.
