When PK Auto Design Road Balances Michelin Super Sport on BC Forged Wheels
do you always deflate, break bead, rotate tires to XYZ location on rim and ultimately
Balance with ZERO Tape Weights. Can this usually be accomplished on the first
rotation shift or not.... This would get time consuming and cost you man hours ????
OR Do you NOT do all the above and use .75 to 1.5 oz of tape weight applied at
the lazer line ????

When we mount and balance wheels we roadforce all applications, from there should it require a forcematch we put it back on the balancer, deflate break the bead and rotate the wheel and tire to the specific position required.
From there we apply the weights, should a forcematch not be needed then we apply the specific weights required for the best balance.

Paul, Thanks for the reply. I need/want to learn what a FORCEMATCH means......??
In most cases do Forged Aluminum Wheels require the use of tape weights.
My tire installer did not deflate, did not break any beads...He went with the
HUNTER Machine suggestions using between .75 & 1.5 OZ on the four wheels.
Tape weights are gray in color but not very appealing ....dont like the "look"

Paul, Ive talked with local HUNTER Eng Rep.............
Curious how/where you apply the 1/4 oz "Chicklets" of Tape Weights.
In my case the gray (colored) weights show between the spokes....
so guess I just live with it.............
HUNTER Rep now says there are "bettered colored" weights available than gray ones that were
used on my wheels.................????? Can you elaborate or provide help ???
