New seat covers from Interior Innovation
Finally made a dent on my bland ebony interior. Received my seat covers from Interior Innovation. Installed them today, spending about 3 hours per seat. As you can see from the first pic, the covers are pretty wrinkled after being folded up in a box. Working out the wrinkles was 85-90% pulling the covers around the seat and bolster as tight as possible. The last 10-15% was using a cheap $12 dollar heat gun from Harbor Freight. My covers are synthetic so i took care not to use too much heat for too long across a desired area, then massaging that spot till the wrinkles faded. I will admit i wish the red was just a tad bit darker. My car is victory red and I would say these covers are closer to torch red. Over all i love them and would recommend them to anyone who is on the fence to ****** up a pair. Mine were $290 shipped! But mine are plain jane with no bells or whistles. I opted for no extras, minus the custom Z06 like color scheme. Great product, but i do have to say the communication is a tad lacking. Sorry II, just being honest. But i do highly recommend

look real nice...........installed their leather covers on a coupe I previously owned............leaving them exposed in the warm sun will also eliminate any remaining wrinkles...............

Looks like you did an excellent job.
Seems all others have too many wrinkles for my taste.

Lol funny thing is i've tried. I won't mention any names but one place i ordered from was back ordered for 3+ months so i took a refund. Another place never responded to my emails for sample colors. And now i am currently waiting for the center console cover, shift boot, and e-brake boot from Interior Innovation....but for all i know my apartment front office may have that package sitting somewhere

Spending the extra time per seat was worth it. They look awesome!

I have to say...$290 for a product that looks that good, and you can still complain that the communication is not all it is supposed to be? They are beautiful, period.
Maybe the guy could spend another four hours of each week communicating better. After all, he only works 65 hours a week. Let's see...four hours of lost time means he has to work another four hours to make up for it. Yeah, he could do that...
Forgive my impertinence. It just seems that sometimes, we expect 110%, and are not fully satisfied when we get 100%.

^Ok i had to read your post a couple times. It would seem that you're accusing me of expecting 110 percent. It would also seem you're trying to make it look as if I'm a nagger searching for a reason to complain. I CLEARLY state the product is good. But the communication needs improvement. On a scale of 1-10, communication is a 4 or 5, not an 8 or above. I still don't know where my shift boot, e-brake boot, and center console cover are and i ordered those nearly 2 weeks before my seat covers.
To put this even more into perspective, i recently purchase Wilwood calipers. Communication between Todd at TCE Performance and Ryan at Wilwood was the BEST I've ever experienced when buying ANYTHING from any forum vendor or any other vendor for car related products. They answered all questions and i had everything i needed within a week. All questions were answered within 30 minutes of my emails. I know everyone can't make the time to communicate on that level but come on. I've been trying to purchase seat covers and other products from II since October last year. I've wanted sample colors of their red products because I've been trying to sort out who i was buying my leather interior from. But it has taken this long because of the "lack" of communication, and that was me being nice.
I have NO interest in bashing II or anyone else. But I had to reply to your post. And i have to be brutally honest since you asked the question for the next person that wants to make a purchase as well as give constructive criticism to help II's business. Take it how you want, but i'm sure plenty of others will appreciate my honesty. Funny thing is, I'd STILL buy seat covers from them again.
EDIT: It would appear that the email system for II was down sometime during February and my order for the 3-piece kit was missed. I am currently communicating with II to resolve my order issue.

I'd have to say, yes, it is quite helpful that bg expanded on his first post of Interior Innovation.
I'll revise my post again and delete it due to your most recent post, #22. Thanks for the update.
