Realistic MPG Expectations 2012 GS
As much as you read, Im trying to get a realistic picture of the MPG to expect from my 2012 GS with manual trans. I realize that there are so many conditions that affect this number (city, highway) mods or changes, but what are some numbers people see?

have a 2010 GS M6 coupe and average around 17mpg in mixed driving (75% of my driving is highway commute with light traffic)
Get around 22-24 on highway only trips and 14-15 if doing mostly city driving.
does not get near the mileage of my old c5z and I chalk it up to a heavier car, .5L more displacement, and imo the biggest mileage sink is the width/weight difference in the tires.

You are right on with your C6 numbers. I got 25-26 (automatic trans)with the cruise set on 89 MPH going through hell...I mean Texas!

I'm not sure about the accuracy of the pump's meter. Also, the fuel in the filler neck. (I always stop when the pump stops though) But yeah, fuel light had been on for a while. haha. Sweating a little by that point.

A6 here. Mid to High 20s on long highway trips with steady speeds, 15-17 in the city, overall about 18+ -- and I have a very heavy right foot....

18 or so in true city driving, lower 20s in suburban driving (like most of us do daily), and pushing 30 on the highway at a reasonable speed. Make no mistake ... it's an economy car.
