I love the look of both so understand why it's a hard decision. I wasn't fond of the Cray ZR1 type (gun metal gray with chrome outer ring) that where on mine when I bought it, but they've since grown on me and I love them now. Just go with your gut and the look you want to achieve.
Starting a new thread guys! I'm more unsure of the black chrome with every picture I see. I'm going to consider chrome and see if some of you old timers can convince me. If not I will go with my initial idea of gloss black. Thanks for your help!

You don't need to make a new thread to ask the same question. You're going to get the same responses in both. Half the people on here like black wheels. The other half like chrome wheels.
While you're at it, why not make a third thread and put a poll in it and see which one wins!

First picture is my personal Monterey Red C6. I'm leaning more towards the look of the black wheels but the chrome is crazy clean. If I go with black, it will be the ZR1 style like the chrome and I'm having my halo and mirrors painted black as well. All opinions and pictures welcomed.
If it were my car, I'd put black or grey ZR1 wheels on it...those have always caught my eye on this color of car for some reason.
A bit off topic here but I saw a white C7 the other day with white custom wheels. Man, did that thing look sweet. Couldn't get a pic because I was driving.
New to the forum here. I recently purchased a 2007 Base Corvette in Monterey Red. I have always loved the look of the ZR1's, especially the wheels. Should've just bought a ZR1 then, right? Only problem is I'm 20 and on a budget. So next best thing, I'm looking for reps. Preferably ZR1 style or something similar. I can't decide between gloss black and black chrome. Any opinions and pictures of black chrome in any wheel style and on any color Vette would be greatly appreciated. Shoot me a link to a vendor while you're at it!
Also adding that I will be tinting tails and markers soon, as well as having the halo and possibly the mirrors painted black. Not sure if that will clash with the bling of the black chrome.
