Need input - Stripe Concept
I'm looking to break up the color a bit on my machine silver '06. All the stripe kits you find online send the hood stripes right down the center cowl. There's such hard lines between on the hood between the cowl and the fenders, I'm amazed I can't find a single stripe kit online that has done this.
My current ideas for this scheme below are among the following:
1.) Primary - Gloss black (I used MS Paint - just pretend it's gloss)
Secondary - Red pin stripe
2.) Primary - Gloss black
Secondary - Cyber grey pin stripe
3.) Primary - Gloss Cyber Grey
Secondary - Red pin stripe
4.) Primary - Gloss Cyber Grey
Secondary - Black pin stripe
I'm also thinking I might either fade out the black in the door stripe toward the back or leave it off completely. Either way, I'm not entirely sure if and how I might continue the hood stripe scheme on the targa and hatch.
Example of the first option:

My wife just walked by and saw your pic on the screen and said "That looks horrible!"
IMO one stripe in the center looks better. If you're liking the double stripe thing I think black looks to harsh. I would go with the primary cyber grey and nothing on the doors.

Nope. Feedback is what I'm looking for and the more I look at it the less I like the doors. I'm also starting to agree the black is too stark a contrast and grey might be better. Undecided on the pinstriping as well.

Thanks guys. I was trying to use my meager photoshop skills to try and think outside the box, but the more I look at it, the more I think "Yo, dawg, lemme pimp yo ride!"
The car had everything I wanted for a great price, but was the one color I find completely boring and in need of good striping or something to set it off. I've found a few ideas online, but so far nothing really grabs me. They're either plain themselves or over-the-top gaudy. In my attempt to overcome the former, I ran into the latter. I just have to find the happy medium.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Not feeling those stripes.
Want bold? How about something like this?
Or something much more subdued?
Both look much better to me.
I have seen the black and silver one in person, badass.

Not a fan of stripes, never been my thing, even pin striping seems wrong. It's like the owner is saying "...I wish my car looked better" and the corvette looks amazing as-is.

OP .... Your car is silver. If you want something that is noticeable but not "In Your Face", I think this is the best option:
Very subtle, and nice ... In fact, I think I would just get the hood and front fascia stripes and forget the roof, rear deck lid and rear fascia stripes.
Just my opinion.

On the other hand, these stripes are so subtle, It might very well look good with all the stripes as shown in the photo.
Up to you.
Anyway, it's very Nice!

Fourth gen F-body lookalike or not, I actually like both the hood and the paint scheme a lot. I had a '02 WS.6 a number of years ago and one of the few minor things that bugs me about the C6 itself is the hood doesn't seem aggressive enough. I always liked that big center bulge in the middle of the WS.6 and SS hoods compared to the standard T/A and Camaros.
(For the record I'm a 5'4" dude, so I might be over-compensating... )
You guys have steered me away from the edge and given a lot of great feedback. I just have to figure out how I'm going to go about doing all of this. The plain silver bugs me, but I also know I would like to do a wide body conversion and possibly change up the front fascia, rear fascia, and/or hood as well. Doing any sort of striping or color scheme before then would be a bit premature. I'm just on an idea gathering mission.
