2011 C6 Z06 valvetrain noise
Has heads and k501 cam, completely stock exhaust, and stock intake. I'm new to these cars and these mods and I'm trying to figure out if this valvetrain noise is normal. You need to turn your bass way down in order to hear it accurately, it's extremely noticeable while driving though. In the video I would describe it as the high-pitched humming sound? Idk lol.

Noise is due to the aftermarket cam's fast ramp speed (valve open to close time).
Just the 'nature of the beast' when using 'big' cams in these engines.
Commonly called the "Singer Sewing Machine" noise. Most noticeable at idle.

And yes headers will make it louder.
