I still have a recall that has not been completed on my top. Have not had any issues with the top but the recall states a problem may occur because the adhesive used may seperate from the headliner and top. Replacement requires a new fiberglass top attached to my old headliner with a new adhesive and the top repainted to match my car. Have many of you guys had this recall taken care of with satisfactory results in the paint match?

Actually it's your headliner that gets attached to the new top. It's just a piece of fabric thats held with a bit of glue. They will transfer your latches and weather strips over too. I had mine done and the paint matches perfectly. Mine wasn't showing any signs of failure but why risk it.

Mine was done years ago even though there no signs of any separation.
