Painted rear corvette lettering
I just couldn't justify the crazy price tag for the sticker inlays, and I did not feel comfortable spray painting on the bumper so I did the next best thing. Plasti dip. Surprised how well it turned out. I taped off the area and then used a cube piece of foam with a paper towel on it to "wipe evenly" across the lettering per coat to get the plasti dip off the paint, but stay in the lettering (if that makes sense)...best part, if I get tired of it ill just peel it out of the lettering and not hurt the paint

Looks very nice!
And a great way to avoid the Corvette Tax.
I did the same process (different products) on my C7 wheels. Easy to do, and looks great!

What exactly did you use to "wipe" across the letter?
My plasti-dip experience says that it wouldn't wipe away cleanly after spraying but I of course could be doing it wrong.

i had a piece of garbage Styrofoam laying around that was in the shape of a cube that I wrapped a paper towel around. I'm sure anything would work really.
