So what explains putting a huge sticker on a Vette that reads Corvette? Afraid that cute girls won't know you drive one unless it is plastered over the windshield, or on the back?
When I owned my Turbo Trans AM, most people said they liked my Corvette, even though it came with decals on the sides and rear spoiler that read TRANS AM.

Its no more or less tacky than the stupid GM chicklet the factory put on. Tacky is a continuum of taste and technology, go to a corvette show and check out the crap (tasteful customizations) people were doing to their sweet 03 ride!
To my eye what is tacky about your mod, or any, is if its done poorly. The emblem does not appear to be centered or applied symmetrically with the corvette lettering on the opposite side. Go look at the ZR1 application, better yet go take some measurements!
Generally I'm in favor of what you did. Success is in the details but you know that by now since you got flamed for a few of them. I won't mention them again but will wager you think twice before posting another pic.

A lot of folks on CF get steamed when someone puts a Z51 badge on their Vette because "technically" its not a separate model but "just" a group of options.
I have a Z51 C7 and the wheels/tires/brakes/sway bars/shocks/gearing/dry sump Z51 upgrades offer a significant driving experience improvement compared to the stock Stingray.
From a performance standpoint, the Z51 package is more comprehensive than a BMW M-Sport or a Mercedes AMG Sports package option.
However, BMW and Mercedes ensured that the M-Sport/AMG Sports equipped vehicles had subtle interior/exterior badges that let you know that it was more than just a base vehicle.
I thought the Corvette team should have done more to highlight the Z51 package similar to what BMW/Mercedes had done.
Putting a Z51 logo on the steering wheel bottom or a emblem on the rear seems appropriate if done tastefully.

Um, are you referring to the skinny exhaust pipes? Definitely tacky. You should switch to minimum 4-inchers. I see you bought the Z-51 model. Collector version for sure. Flaunt it! I bought the Z-16.

I don't think it is "tacky" but do think it is silly. JMO...an upgrade for a Vette is keeping it the way an owner of a Ferrari would keep their car, not treating like it's an '83 Accord by adding a bunch of crap to it so it looks like............an '83 Accord owned by a juvenile.
Having said that, I admit that I am quite tightly wrapped, and my opinions reflect that. So, do what you like, it is your car.
BTW...it is a very beautiful car...
