Z51 wider tires? Wrong, no difference if the car came with Z51 package or not. When I look at a car's description, I expect the info to be 100% accurate. The seller claims to be a car enthusiast and knows what he's selling. I'd say pass on this.

I monitor my entire FI tune through HUD - FTs, AFRs, Boost, Inj. pulse, spark Advance, coolant fan. Couldn't imagine monitoring a custom tune without HUD.

I'd pass on this one; too many red flags. It looks like a 1LT, meaning no Nav and no memory seats(which ad says it has). MSRP of $65k? MSRP of that car was less than $51,000. I would keep looking; plenty of nice ones without all the issues.

Nothing wrong with 1LT. I purposely bought a 1 LT GS and saved $6k. Had HUD on my old C5 and used it twice in 9 years. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. GM's Bose/Nav system stinks, not worth paying all that money for HUD or heated seats on a 3LT car if you don't care for it.

There are better cars out there.

If you think it's a "for now" car and not a "forever" car, keep looking.
1lt might not bother you, but it's a difficult sale for most (think resale).
Also, you'll be owner #5, another turnoff for buyers.

The car has an average price at best IMO.

It's only been in MI for a year or two, but came from another rusty state. With those reasonably low miles I doubt it was a year-round car anyway.

Went and looked at this car this morning for the OP................

car is well represented in the Ebay ad the seller has posted, and did check out accordingly for a 55,000 mile C6 base car...............

rainy here, but paint looked good, would need a full detail if it were mine but that is irrelevant................. owned by a younger person looking to sell it to obtain funds to purchase a house............. OP is probably another inexperienced potential Corvette buyer, looking for others to do the legwork or homework he should have done, or be doing............ would be fair sale to both parties at about 22K for what it is....................... good luck to those involved

Wow. I'm not sure that is a fair statement in regards to the OP. You did voluntarily offer your services. OP was only soliciting advice. I'm guessing your exchanges with OP were not as pleasant as expected or lacked appreciation for services rendered?

I volunteered my services to look at it and ask the relevant questions................. did not expect to have the OP relying on others to explain to him the basics of car ownership....................
