Absolutely gorgeous photo of desert sunset and a beautiful C6

Not a fan of this kind of shot. I don't know if the car is the subject, or the background. No clear hero in this shot.

Also - this image was composited, not taken as a single image. The direction of the light from the sun wouldn't be creating highlights on the side opposite the sun, especially with a black car.

I've been shooting for two decades and invested three or four times in camera gear compared to what we have in our C6.

Yeah - the more I look at the shot, the more that doesn't add up. With the sun that low in the sky, the shadows coming our direction would be far longer coming toward the viewer. The shadows in the image are more typical of late morning/mid afternoon on a cloudy day. Dark clouds, as shown in the sky don't reflect light down, as would be needed for a sun that low and behind the car to light up the more horizontal elements on our side of the car.

Midnight08 - I appreciate your critique, I too have been shooting for many years and although the photo is beautiful, it just didn't look natural.

Here are a couple of my "sunset gazing" photos, taken on Seventeen Mile Drive in Carmel.
