Ignition Coils
I am dressing up the engine a bit. Already ordered Holley valve covers. Checking to replace the ignition coils. MSD coils are expensive. Has any one used Professional Products LSX High Performance Coils?

I am with Gary, above, on this one.
Reading coil tests, I too do not see a performance benefit.
Certainly coils are cosmetic upgrade and, as manufactured, colored coils would have a great quality appearance.
But...the OP mentions money...paint the OEM coils.
Else, IMO, any brand/ color as long as they fit would be fine...plus as mentioned, not exactly inexpensive.

Paint them. Anything else is a down grade at best. Factory coils are excellent. Hit them with a can of red spray paint and be done.

I was going to suggest a trade. I have red painted coils in high temp paint, and would prefer to go back to black. My concern is your car is a lot older and I don't want to take on a set of coils that old.
I'd recommend painting too. Not too hard at all, and a nice Saturday or Sunday project. I used the 500* high temp red engine paint you can find almost anywhere, even Walmart. Prep is everything! Make sure the coils are degreased, very clean. As a final prepaint step, I wiped the coils down with mineral spirits. Do a really light dusting coat first, follow the drying time between coats, then another finish coat.

Vavle covers bolt right on. No brackets/etc besides what comes with them. No change in harness/etc. All plug and play.
Now if you want to move or hide the harnesses, that is on you. Can do that many ways.

Those are proform covers, and you have to buy the proform brackets that don't come with them.
Holley covers have the mounts cast into the covers, and don't need brackets. What you posted a picture of is not a holley cover.
