Cruising with the top off today, really groovin' Los Lobos' Colossal Head.
The torque of the engine totally matches the slow crazy sax, Latin drums and guitars. Those guys get it in concert too.
I wonder if David Hildalgo owns a 'vette?
(Why was the last Lobos thread killed?)

It's not that I have a philosophical objection to listening to music in the Vette - I just feel more satisfied listening to the engine.
On the other hand, I ran a solo trip from Illinois to Georgia a few weeks ago, and I had music on the whole way.
And honestly, the Vette makes enough noise between the engine, tires, and wind (with windows down) that listening to music is hard. I have a quiet secondary car, and I always have music going in that one.
So, to the OP - and all of you that drive your Vette with tunes on - great! I'm glad you have music that you enjoy listening to that improves the driving experience!

I have a Corsa Axle Back and yes the song can be deceiving but I listen to Purple Lamborghini by Rick Ross (from the suicide squad soundtrack). I like listening to songs that give me that out of mind/out of body experience when driving the sports car puts me in an aggressive drive mode. Enter the Sandman, Radioactive, Tainted love and Dope show by Marylin Manson.

Same here!
If neither is on, then I listen to home-make CDs of old county/bluegrass/Chet Atkins.

In the North East it's Rush and Howie Carr. If they're not on then it's Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Animals, Hendrix, Aerosmith... All the old greats.
I almost hang my head in shame when I say this - but I also have an Adele CD in the vette...
They all sound fantastic on the Bose if it's adjusted correctly and really cranked up.

Hopefully my tax dollars going to help support their left wing propaganda will soon end.
Why is it Rush doesn't have to beg from the Govt. to succeed?
I'm guessing you don't hear many in Oklahoma with NPR on the radio.

Also I am in the North East US (NOVA). I have Chris Plant, Rush, then some joker named Larry O'Connor. Since I don't get savage and the others are in while I work I rely on internet streaming.
