Ridiculous Window Tint price!!!!!!!
Im going to keep it short. So I went to a tint shop to get an estimate on tinting my windows and he quoted me $600 (includes a very light tint on the windshield too). I never had tint on any of my vehicles but 600 sounds ridiculous. I just want to know how much have you guys paid for tint?

$250 for just the back window.

I paid $250 whether for a vert or a coupe. $600 is a rip-off.

$180 for sides and back.

Quoted $120 for cheap tint and payed $160 for the lifetime one. Back glass looks very good. But as with everything, never get one opinion. Go around and find a price that works for your budget. I'll tell ya what, if you forced me to take a tint job i'd charge way more than $600.

Don't forget the OP is getting the windshield done as well, which is a decent sized piece of glass. While $600 might still be too high, it probably isn't so far out there. If you figure a reasonable price of $150 for front and back (each) and $75 for each side window, you are at $450, and I could see it being more knowing the challenges of the rear glass.

Sounds like he's charging you illegal tint "liability" tax. Some tint shops increase their prices when you ask for an illegal tint. Don't think they are actually liable, but it's something some shops use to make an extra buck.
