As in any big city, depends where you go and park it. I've driven to Vegas over the last 20 years and taken cars far more expensive than my Vette. I've stayed on the strip at the nicer hotels and either used valets or the parking garages. Can't report any problems.

Pickups are more likely to be stolen than your Corvette.

Yep, you can't have a Vette here in Vegas cause it will definitely get stolen! I never park mine anywhere but my garage!
What kinda city does "she" think this is?

I wouldn't think that it would be anymore of a problem there than anyplace else.

A couple of years ago, I was in Vegas and I had a good view of this Lamborghini parked in the "self park" from my hotel room.
It provided a lot of entertainment watching peoples reactions to the car.
I noticed a lot of people felt the need to touch and/or peer into the windows of the car.
I only thing I saw that really made me cringe .... was the guy I saw who had his woman sit on the hood so he can take some pictures.
My point? .... I would be more worried about the drunks leaving the Casino ..... than theft.

I drove to Vegas last year with mine and had no issues at all. I always park in valet no matter what car I drive while there, partly for security reasons. Take and enjoy the drive the area has to offer.

I always choose to drive Vegas over flying it. I'm close enough that it is a wash whether I take all of the time waiting in "lines" at airports, or enjoying the drive. And, anyone doing the Phoenix/Vegas drive knows this is an "E-Ticket" drive in any performance car.

We take ours to Vegas several times each year. The hotels have huge parking structures with cameras everywhere. Park on an upper floor and your will have all kinds of room. We have never had a hint of a problem there. Lots of high end cars there so your Vetter will not stand out as much as you think it will

And, the drunk looking to snag a pic of his girfriend sitting on someone's hood will go for the Lamborghini every time.

Live 80 miles North of Vegas & often spend a few days there when friends & family visit or I go to events like SEMA or Barrett-Jackson; take my Corvette there all the time. Feel safer taking it there then many other places, most casino/hotel parking garages have excellent security. Take your Vette & have a great time

I take mine there to visit friends but only if they have an open space in their garage.
To me, the strip is a 'no go' zone...LOL

Of coarse thats your choice, but why? I've taken a drive up and down the strip at least 100 times since I've lived here and other than a lot of people staring at the car and lots of lights it's no different than any other road.

So much security there that I really feel my car is safer in a parking garage there than almost anywhere else I go.

There's nothing on the strip that interests me...most things there are found better in other places around LV.

That's true. Wife and I rarely go to any of the hotels on the strip. We frequent South Point a lot since it's only 2 miles away but driving down the strip and back is always interesting.
