Default 2008 interior differences..got any photos?

Hey everyone....

I first signed on about 10nyears ago.....and i am gettong closer to a vette! Hahha

We actually things have changed for all of us over the last ten years.....and my current car is a Caddilac....now it might be time to trade. Hmmmmmm

So i know i want at least a 2006. The c6. The door handles are very cool and i like the styling.

I have read on the 2008 alot of upgrades were introduced. Such as a fancier interior....

The top of the line interior for 2008 has some great leather accents and or leather dash.

See this is where i dont know. So my question is...

Any one have any pics of the 2008 base model interior....and any pics of thr upgraded interior?

what product code or factory order code do i look for when shopping for one? Any other infor or links?

thanks!

If you want a leather dash (careful what you wish for) you will be looking for a 4LT.....I have a 3LT which has heated seats, HUD, and some other differences. The updated interior is the carbon fiber look to the center console cover over the silver in earlier years....2012 has upgraded seats (which I dont care for the look of personally)

I think what you are looking at are "option" codes. The higher the option code, the more options you get. A 1LT will be a base optioned car, 2 LT will have more options, 3LT more, and 4LT will have everything offered for that model (some year models do not offer 4LT). 4LT will give you the leather package (dash, door panels, and console). There is no such thing as "upgraded" interior.

If you have been researching 10+ years on a vette purchase, you probably shouldn't hold out for the perfect 08 with 4LT interior. You might be waiting a while longer.

Don't delay!!! Get in a vette!!

You wanted photos, so here you go. This is a photo of my 08 2LT interior. It does not have HUD, heated seats, BOSE, steering wheel controls, or seat/mirror position memory, but it does have both power seats (I think the 1LT only has power driver seat) Note: My car did not come with Navigation. I swapped that out from the original radio.

Don't have pics, either, though have the 2008 base with 3LT. In truth, you would be better served seeing the different options packages in person, without an extensive set of images taken of each variation by the same person - that is same perspective, same light, same quality of image. Seeing what 3LT looks like compared to 4LT will help better than photos. I haven't knowingly seen a 4LT, but I suspect the difference visually is subtle, while the maintenance to keep it that way is significantly different IF you intend to drive the car.

All of our vehicles in the last decade and a half have leather in various places. Seats aren't too bad to maintain, but other places can be more of a pain. Not sure why that is, but somehow leather that can breath (seats) seems to maintain a lot easier than leather on doors, dashes, etc.

The HUD is convenient, but not necessary. The rest of it, really comes down to driver preference. That said, we will never own a vehicle without heated seats, per my wife's strong want/need of them.

Hey everyone. Thanks! I am finding out more and seeing the different interior pics is cool. (the interiors sometimes seem boring or plain on some vettes i have looked at...but i have only sat in 3 or 4 so far...and have driven one.

Yes....the statement of just get one...pick one and get into it....i should have done that long ago....say 20 years!

but i am glad i waited....the C6 is comfortable and drives well.

I am still on the hunt. I also found some links on the different option packages...

BUT.....u can override or option the car out the way you wanted when ordering the c6....correct?

This is a 2007 3LT interior. Not sure what big changes came in 2008 but you can use this photo to try to find something that looks better or worse to you.

Console cover, pedals and floor mats are not stock. I think the padded console cover was $129.00 at West Coast Corvettes

Default Go to C6 sales

I have 4LT C6 2008 I'm going to putting up for sale that's posted. You should check it out. It's rare and I feel much nicer in quality than even the 3lt - in my opinion.

I have a 2008 base 1lt. It has everything I need and nothing I dont. Hard to see in the pic, but the center stack having the carbon fiber look vs silver is the largest 08+ visual difference to me. The Cobalt steering wheel is the only thing I don't care for. I like to cruise down the freeway with a hand resting at 6oclock and that isn't possible with this wheel.

sooooooo...

I think i found one. I will post in a different thread.

But....the above interior drom arkyVette....is kinda like the car i am looking at. Its a 2008.

It doesnt have seat heaters and has no controls on the steering wheel.

But it does have a power passenger seat....and a leather wrapped steering wheel. (i can see the stitching...so hopefully that is how you tell. And it feels nice too!)

so...maybe an LT2 interior?

I have to look closer and do more research.

But i kinda dont care anymore. Haha. Whoever up top of this thread said...hey Al...just buy somethinggggg--- that set me on a mission.

I found a nice one....and dont really care about the options....it would be nice to know.

But i do know that its a Corvette...and that is good!

The color combo is burgundy and tan interior...like the one posted pic up there in the thread.

thoughts fellas and gals out there?

and thabjs for being supportive....its a big decision for me! And an exciting one!

In fact...i think it is this eact interior.

No bose
No heated seats
No seat and position memory...i think...where would that be located?
no steering wheel controls

But has power pass seat controls
and leather wrapped wheel.

So i am saying LT2. Correct? Or close?

My 1lt has leather steering wheel. Honestly not sure about passenger seat. Haven't adjusted it yet. It just stays all the way back.
