Drive the damn thing!
It's just a car, a very expensive car.
CMH to PHX in October. Drove it all winter.
PHX to CMH in May. Will drive it all summer.
Ran/Handled/Rode great however, I wouldn't want to be co-pilot.
~2K miles each way/~26-28 mpg.
Can't wait until October to do it again.

I agree. We buy these cars because of the beauty and performance, yet so many "count miles" and worry about driving. It's a depreciating asset. Use it. Enjoy it.

You do what you want with your car, I'll do what I want with mine. Nobody's right, nobody's wrong.

Frankly, I DGAS how someone uses their car. It's theirs. And when the garage queens go on sale, eventually, those owners that are willing to part with them are to be blessed!

Picky, picky, picky.
Post your pic when you get there.
If it was possible, I'd have taken that pic at 230 mph.

Melting Slicks
Some of us have many other hobbies aside of the Corvettes. I think I put around 1k miles on my car last year. It was really fun and I certainly wasn't counting them as I drove on. There just isn't enough time in my year to go stack miles on it. She won't fit over the speed bumps at work. Bastards!

That's actually what the retired female teacher said when I bought her Corvette Also, her husband said, "if it isn't red, it's not a real Corvette".

Drifting
We have had our 13 GS MN6 convertible for 40 months (purchased new Jan 14). It now has 38,000 miles. Not a daily driver but we bought it to drive.

I put about 2-3K a year on but I have the bike I ride plus I use the truck a lot, first one in line in the driveway and more convenient. And the big one, I really don't have that many places to go. Retired now and do travel some and take the Vette whenever possible but just not that many places to go to. Sometimes I take it out just to give it a spin, did that the other day after it sat in the garage for almost a month. And my Daughter won't let me pick up the Grandkids with the Vette (although they would LOVE it)...

Nope, the wrong person is the person that believes everyone else should be using their car the same way that person is using theirs...

A point I've made before on similar threads: I'm self-employed, work at home and drive a total of around 6,000 miles per year. The Vette gets about 2,500 of that total, the truck gets the rest.
Should I drive the Vette even if I don't have anywhere I want to go, just to rack up miles so I can be "a real Corvette owner?"

Although unspoken, this is like the Harley rider's "Iron Butt Club," where you put a zillion miles on your bike so you can be "a real Harley rider."
How old are we? Fourteen?
FTR: Speaking only for myself, I do like girls.
