when I saw the OP's title originally thought there may be some pictures of Corvettes or even other cars from the drag strip...................
instead we get another topic with NO pictures of ANY car actually drag racing and many posts of "what if's / maybes' / and should have - could have beens"......................

I am confused here ... Not long ago, you had your engine tore down. You said it already had a bigger cam in it.
Again, what did you do to the engine when you had it apart?
Now your saying you have a "stock LS2".
But your car has Z06 emblems on it ... they never put an LS2 in the Z06.
Forgive me, but I am very confused as to what is going on here.
I must have really missed something along the way ....

And, I understand that the red Z06 that this thread is all about is in fact, the same car that he pulled the heads and cam out of just a couple of weeks ago.
This is the Z06 that he said he was going to run in the 9s with.
So, if he didn't run close to the 9s in this Z06, what did he run in it before getting kicked off the track?
The OP certainly got a timeslip for that run ... he needs to post a photo of that timeslip for all of us to see.
I am still confused as hell.

Did you not read? I said 12.2 at 127 got one run cause I have no helmet guy also said I need a fire jacket cause he knows I can dip into tens..... like I said again I had traction control off I have run flats they spin till 80 I misshifted and got
That in only one run and my first run in the car that's pretty damn good just wait on the slicks brotha!

My apologies, 12.6. So your H/C Z is already 4/10s quicker than your bolt on LS2. 9s are just around the corner. What's another 2.3 seconds.
When the track official said your car could dip into the 11s did you respond with, "bitch this thing will do 9s!"?
