i just bought this car but when it warms up it makes the strangest speak at slower speeds. I think it makes it all the time but I can only hear it at slower speeds because of the car being loud 😉 I'm attaching a video for reference. You can hear it best about half way through the video. Sorry about the quality. I was driving and shifting 😉

have the same problem with my 08. only happens when the weather is hot. sounds like something is loose. goes away on cool days. have learned to live with it. i just turn the radio up.

Is it possible it could be the roof panel?

It does it with the roof on or off. Today it was hot outside and I sit down in the car really hard and it made the same noise. Could it possibly be a shock??

My thoughts on what is could be.

Bad end links on your sway bar.
Loose bolts on your seat (since it happens when you sit down)

Here is a video of a car with bad end links. Sounds a lot like what your car is doing.

I wonder if it's the infamous windshield seal noise? Does it get worse as you go faster? It sounds like it's coming from the dash, but is actually coming from that black seal on bottom of windshield. Has to be cleaned underneath and put clear silicone and let dry. The c6 has that problem on many cars and had a recall, but is easy to fix yourself. When I first heard mine, I thought I was having engine or drivetrain problems.

Thanks for the ideas. I've did a little more detective work and I think it's the shock or something in that area. I can stand outside the car with just my foot in the floor of it and press and it makes the noise very loudly. I had someone do that while I looked behind the wheel best I could and it seems to be the shock or something close by. Is there a way to oil that area or do I have to just replace the shock?
