The antenna that's checking to see if the fob was left in the car is the one in the glove box slot. Same one that's used when you start the car.
The coverage pattern of the antenna is not precisely defined and occasionally a false reading happens.
But you can always turn all this stuff off and use the fob manually.
Great technology IMHO.

No beeps here, change your DIC settings.

My guess is that there is an extra fob stashed somewhere in the car. Also check the glove box slot.

Yes she does, but I was just being silly, I know that is the reason it beeps. I like to think that it is reminding me to open her door for her.

You need to run away faster.

Put the fob in your left front pocket (versus the right front pocket)------eliminated 99% of my 3 beeps.

Mine goes in my left pocket, and still beeps 3 times...
Now that I've read the passive door locking options,,I will be changing it to silence as in 'Silence of the Lambs'
Thanks for the tip!

That won't silence the 3 beeps. 3 beeps is ONLY for a fob left in the car alarm. That is a programmable option. You can turn that warning off by editing the memory option package.
If you've got all the fobs out of the car, just move away from the car with the fob a little faster after you're out of the car and have shut both doors.
