Getting 200K+ miles out of a C6
I have a 2006 Z51 Convertible with 130K miles. It's been my daily driver for 7 years and I bought it with 25K miles in 2010. It has a new clutch and I care for it meticulously. It puts a smile on my face each day. Is it realistic that I could get 200K+ miles out of this car?

Dont hammer it too bad, overheat it should do 200k no problem
The value is the fun youre getting out of it now
Beat my 5.3 like I hated it first 60k ( i mean real bad), 179k and still runs well. Little tired but havent popped the valve covers off yet.

I wouldn't think that 200K would be a problem at all.

What kind of resale would you expect to get from any car that is in all likely hood going to be 20 years old by the time he has 200k on the odo? It is not like these things are limited edition collectibles.
I have an 06 Z51 vert too. 30k when I bout it. And I have put 5k on in just 4 months. I will probably sell it when I can not longer drive a stick comfortably. I hope it will be over 200k miles by then and definitely will be over 20 years old. Maybe I can give it to a museum. LOL

I sure hope so. my 07 is over 185,000 now and still running strong. Little things have started going out such as oil pressure sending unit, auto light sensor. But overall it has been a great car, very reliable.
Pic taken at 183,000 miles.
It is worth much more to me than what others would pay for it, so it stays.

I have an 06 3LT and 25k in modifications(heads cam stalled plus sound system and carbon/leather interior uprgrades and lots of install tuning costs☹️), tsw Nurburgrings with 92700 miles. I had a local dodge dealer offer me 11,000 a few weeks ago lol. I'd donate it to charity before I'd give it away for 11k. Book value is currently 15k-ish trade, 18k-ish retail(for a stock un-modified example).

I ran a 2003 Chrysler 300m for 215000 miles. Sold it to a kid that uses it to deliver pizza 5 nights a week. That was 3 years ago. Speedometer broke so he doesn't know how many miles are on it. Just take care of the little stuff before it escalates into something larger. My daily driver 2006 base has just hit 80,000. Barely broken in!!

Very cool OWC6. I am a numbers guy as well and pay particular attention when numbers come up like that. My 06 just hit 34543 the other day. Tomorrow I will get 34567. Yeah, I know, takes little to make me smile.

A Dodge dealer has no use for a 97K Corvette that has been heavily modded, he is only going to take your car if he can be certain of getting a quick return. With 97K on the clock, he is going to send it directly to auction, where he can get a quick turnaround on his money.
After you have put all that money into it, and have it just like you want, I do hope it will get you all the way to 200K, and it should. Good luck to you.

Keep the oil fresh and the air filter clean and the old motor will go a long time.
