Default Wheel sizes

hi guys I'm just in the process of looking for new wheels for my base c6 here in the uk and was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages were of different sizes.
So far I've found the following setups
front 19x8.5
rear 20x10

front 19x9.5
rear 20x10

front 20x10
rear 20x10

should I go for 19 or 20 up front and possibly the narrowest at 8.5?

Of the three options, stick with the first set (assuming c6 compatible offsets), and then run 245/35 front and 285/30 rear tire sizes.

It would help if you stated the wheel model you are considering, your plan for tires, and the overall purpose of the wheel upgrade. Is it strictly for looks, or is performance important?

Bear in mind too, if rough roads are a concern, stick with 18/19 inch wheels. The taller sidewall will help cushion the ride.

Thanks for the reply.
The main reason is for looks but I don't want to totally hinder the performance or feel, that's what made me a bit concerned with a wider front wheel

Going wider in the front allows you to run a wider tire. I have 18 x 9.5 front wheels with a 275/35 MPSS tire. It probably feels a little heavier at low speeds, but produces A LOT more grip at higher speeds and aggressive maneuvers. My rear setup is 19 x 11 wheel with a 295/35 MPSS tire. I could have used a 19 x 10.5 wheel with that tire.

That being said, simply upgrading the standard goodyear runflats will likely provide all the performance needed by many drivers, even in the 19/20 sizes you are considering.

Do your research to understand wheel offsets and the the front/rear tire diameter stagger.
