Default Uh oh... I went to the Darkside

My new job required me to get a vehicle with 4wd. So I started looking for a cheap truck. Well, you know how that went. I kept up selling myself until I was looking at raptors. But honestly, trucks do nothing for me. So I just started looking at all kinds of random 4wd Vehicles. And I came across this...

2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. I had been intending to pick up a new Z06 within a year so I thought, screw it! Traded my 2012 grand sport in on it. This thing is a riot. It moves way faster than something this heavy should. All kinds of bells and whistles. And it launches ridiculously hard.
But have no fear. I plan to be back in the corvette ranks within a year or two

No mustang for sure! Lol. It does have 6.4l hemi with 470 hp, 8 speed zf tranny, adaptive cruise, adaptive braking, all the lane and signal safety crap. Suede, leather and carbon interior. 19 speaker Harmon stereo with 800+ Watts. Brembo brakes. Etc

Unfortunately I am no longer in AR. I moved to Warrensburg MO and have not updated info yet.

That's not the one that has had safety issues with the shifter, is it?

Great looking ride. I was a MOPAR guy for years. The last two I had literally fell apart. Their quality (or lack of) is as bad or worse than any other vehicle make I have owned. But, they have some of the best looking vehicles on the road. I hope your SRT hangs together because it will be a blast to drive. Good luck.

What year were you last ones? Both gm and Chrysler seem to have upped their game on build quality last few years. My buddies 2015 ram pickup is very good which made me feel better about the purchase. The interior is pretty high grade too. Time will tell!

Just double checked. Not an issue in the 2016+. It affected previous models.

2008 Dakota and a 2010 Dakota. Interior was cheap plastic as were most Mopars but they have upgraded since. Suspension was a major problem on both. The new Jeeps are really nice looking. Good luck.
