Well in 2 quick weeks of being a corvette owner this is what I found.
Other Corvette owners wave which is cool.
Camaro owners don't even look at you.
Mustangs seem to rev their engines when they drive by? Not sure what that means.
Dodge drivers want to race
Does this happen to anyone else? Before being a Corvette owner I would only admire them and not want to race them.

Oh yeah. Everybody wants to race. Hondas, minivans and trucks. Trucks are the worst. They think loud=fast and tailgating is the BEST way to show interest in your ride!! I think most just want to see what it'll do. IMHO, it's not worth the risk and fuel to do so..

Mustang owners know that Corvette owners won't waste their time, so they rev their engines just so they can tell their friends later that the Corvette owner was too scared to race them.
Dodge drivers drive Dodges. Nuf said.
Welcome to the Corvette owners club.

Mustang owners rev all the time, at Vettes, other Mustangs, squirrels....Dodge drivers know their car is slow but want to hear you get on it.
Same for for all the Civic, minivan, truck owners. They're trying to get you to do a pull! For a long time I thought they were trying to 'race' but they just spotted your car, love it, and trying to get you to do a flyby!

you get used to it...kinda
Often times when I drive my Vette I find gifted soccer Moms who feel the can outdrive me in their minivan. Rice Burners are always hoping for a Vette owner to show them enough respect to punch a few gears with them. And of course pick up trucks can outpower Corvettes on both a stoplight and expressway lane changing, especially if they are jacked up with wide tires. And the kid who has the family SUV out for a ride and dreams of tell all the kids at school a Vette called him out ...and he would have won if he had not lost traction because of his 10,000 RPM automatic on the column power shift... well almost...it takes a while to get used to it...🔥

The Corvette owners waving at me is the best part.
Camaro owners are mostly unable to see me due to their poor visibility (trust me I have been one)
Mustang owners are just ready to show off and usually ready to rev,...I don't pick up challenges.
Porsche owners are usually behind, trying to save gas to make monthly payments
Dodge owners are like Mustang owners, just on a glorified Fiat
As a side note yesterday I was cruising on I45 (32 mpg), and a ******** on a Ford F250 was driving very VERY close to me to take picture of my Vette from behind, then he passed me and started to take picture from one side, then he passed me on the other side, and he did the same. He was driving and taking pictures with a SLR camera, nothing wrong with taking pictures, but the driving around me made me nervous.

The other day I was making a left turn waiting at a red light and this a guy in a beat up pickup pulls up next to me. He was making a right so he wasn't trying to race me. But he just sat there at the light looking in the other direction powerbraking with his one wheel peg leg burnout then took off.
Another guy in a shiny (and nice sounding) F150 comes up behind me then goes ripping by in the middle of a 20mph zone downtown last week.
Why is it guys in pickups that pull this crazy person stuff 90% of the time?
The guys with Mustangs and Camaros sometimes glare, but they don't usually do anything crazy. They probably already have a few tickets and don't want to push their luck.

While drag racing on the street isn't the smartest thing to do to be sure....me thinks that the idge-its that can't put there devices down while behind the wheel are much more dangerous by far.....
