The nitrogen is dry and does not increase with heat like a tire with humid air. 35 cold nitrogen may be close to what 30 cold with Florida air is when hot.

Nitrogen in tires is one of my favorite topics and I've had quite a few spirited exchanges with car dealers and tire stores over this topic. Here are some scientific facts from an Automotive Engineers perspective that backs up my opinion on the subject.

Agree! and you may note that regular air is 78% Nitrogen anyway.

Actually it does. In accordance with Gay-Lussac's Law: The Pressure Temperature Law. This law states that the pressure of a given amount of gas held at constant volume is directly proportional to the Kelvin temperature. As the pressure goes up, the temperature also goes up, and vice-versa. A good estimate to use when comparing tire pressure to air temperature is for every 10 degrees F, tire pressure will adjust by 1 psi.

There is a possibility that a previous owner dinked around and put narrower wheels on the car or you were sold a base model made to look like a GS.
These are the correct tire sizes for C6 Z06 and C6 GS

2013 Grand Sport (not a base model, not a Z06)
Front tire size: 245/40ZR18
Rear tire size: 245/35ZR19

That is not listed on TireRack.com

That is also not listed on CorvetteActionCenter.com which quotes the announcement of/for that model. Here are their words:

"...The wheels are wrapped in large 275/35ZR18 tires in Front and 325/30ZR19 tires in the Rear."

See third paragraph about half way down under "Grand Sport Details"

http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...ighlights.html

As a point of information, there is no '13 Corvette with the same first numbers, the Section Width of 245 for the front and rear tires. And, from the factory the GS or Z06 came with the same size front tires: 275/35R18.

If you disagree, that's fine with me--as I said, it's your car. If I'm wrong I feel certain someone will correct me.
OOPS - My fingers do not always type what is in my head. I meant to type 325/35ZR19. Sorry for the error, but nice to know how sharp y'all are. Rob
