2012 GS CE with red calipers, and red front fender stripes. I'm trying to get a license frame in the same shade of red. Does anyone know what the matching red would be? Victory Red? Magnetic Red? Torch Red?

But I would go with a chrome or black (prefer black on a Centenial Edition) tag frame....I understand trying to tie in the red accents but in this case less is more....IMHO

Consider a plain simple black metal frame plate. The little bit of black trim is nice and clean...and goes well with the small black spoiler and the black trim of the diffuser underneath.

Just an opinion, but when you do the same as body color and it's not perfectly flush with the body, it looks like a fitment issue to me.

But then again...it's your car, make it your own. 2012's are Torch Red I'm pretty sure.

Top Flight Reproductions has exact match colors and they have front ones that do not require drilling into the front of the car.

I understand exactly what you are saying, and I agree, however.......

There is a reason for the red! I'm doing it to Honor the Tuskegee Airmen. I'm getting the plate frame in red with Red Tails in Carbon Flash across the bottom. I was going to get one of the larger plate frames that have the louvered sides extending beyond the plate, and almost looks like wings. I thought that would be too much and boarder on gawdy. The Red Tails were intended to be loud, and in your face, but that's not my intent, just a little nod in their direction. I also don't want to take away from the Carbon Flash since it is such an awesome color.

I believe the calipers are victory red from the factory. I know mine are but maybe the 12's were different?

Pretty sure all red GS fender stripes are Victory Red. Same for the Calipers.

I know the body can't be Victory Red as was not made in 2012.
