I honestly love them both. C6 is more classic looking. But I do love the C7 interior and bold exterior style. If money wasnt an issue. Id get the C7.

My C6 is now 10 years old, the longest time that I have owned any car let alone a Corvette. Unfortunately for me, I am not a fan of the C7's design. In a way I regret not moving to a 2013. At this point I intend to hang on to my C6 and wait to see the C8's.

I love my Heads/Cam/headers 09 Cyber/Grey 3LZ Z06 but if i could afford it I would probably have a new Z06. Although like some have shared I am concerned about the A8 and all the tech on the C7's, long term.

Purchased "Blu" ('13 GS) May 2016 after looking for ~6 months.
I sat in plenty of C7's as well, but the look and the feel weren't there for me.
I must admit however, I just took the factory tour a day before they "closed" and I was drooling over the cars coming off the line. Pretty cool. Wonder what's in store for the C8?

If ur under 6 foot and 200 lbs a c7 might be ok except for how they look of course..
c6 has a much larger interior and just looks better front to back side to side.
c7 looks like a camaro meets ? Just mo.

I know this sounds stupid but not a fan of the high hood sightline from behind the wheel...
I love the c7 z06 performance and hp but I'm weirded out by how the designers raised the front sight lines from behind the steering wheel.
It's the one thing I like about rear engine sports cars...the proximity of the road in front of the vehicle is really close..which offers a nice race car like driving sensation on the street...
My c6 has a shorter front sightline than the previous c5 which also had a shorter front sightline from behind the steering wheel than the c4 corvette..
It's one of the things I love about the c6...I got a nicer view of the road ahead from behind the wheel.
I think I'm going to wait out the c7 and try and purchase a c8 if it comes in rear mid engine format for the price regular people can afford ...pricing around 70 grand for a rear mid engine grand sport corvette in c8 guise would do me...
If that ends up not being the case...then and I need to replace my current corvette by then? I'll pick up a value priced preowned c7 z06...
The other thing I keep going back and forth on is although the performance of the A8 in the c7 z06 is superior for street driving...etc...and even the track....I'm just not ready to give up my manual transmission fun...
I know I should as the computers are faster at shifting etc...and I will probably on my next corvette...but I'm just not ready to give up the manual transmission fun...
Right now the c6 z51 and z06 are analog driving fun.....the involvement, enjoyment are so high and the cost of ownership is so low...
I'm like what the hell....?
Why do I need to spend 70 or 80 grand?
That's my honest answer...I love the c7 z06 ...just digging my present trouble free purchased since new totally reliable and sexy looking c6 z51 manual...

I love the C7, in particular the C7 grand sport. Saw one in motion for the first time last week on the highway and dam did it look gorgeous. Too rich for my blood though. And it sits in a weird price bracket. To spec the car right, it puts the price too close to Z06 money and nobody wants to see that when its power output is the same as the base model. The overall performance with the handling goodies makes it better than the base but they should've bumped the HP to somewhere in the 500-525 and said to hell with what C6 Z06 owners think

I really wanted a c2 but they're so far out of reasonable price ranges it's crazy. The C5 was the next on my list as I really liked the body style & drive train, but when the C6 came out without the popup headlights that's what I set my sights on.
The 7 still hasn't grown on me at all. They remind me of transformer cars for some reason. To be fair though, it's all the outside I don't like. I have not driven one and I'm sure I would enjoy it given the chance

-money: getting a c6 meant not having to sell my 911.
-cylinder deactivation, dfi and rev matching paddles: things I don't need and cost $$$ when they fail.
-7sp manual: one more gear in an already crowded, narrow gated linkage, more chance for an accidental moneyshift.
-fit and finish: every c7 I looked at with 2K miles or more the center armrest was all wrinkled. Not very confidence-building.
-taillights: I don't dislike them, they just say "Pontiac" to me, not Chevy.

Just haven't warmed up to it, I wish I could cause I'd have one tomorrow and every time I see one I look it over real close but just can't get into the look yet...maybe someday but that day is not here yet!

What held me back is I don't like C7's at all.. from any angle. I really dislike it and will never own another vette if they keep that similar look for the next gen. Of course its only my opinion

The only thing that was holding me back was interior room. I just could not get 100% comfortable. I felt like I was sitting too high even though I had the seat positioned as low/back as it would go. I had a little bit of claustrophobia.

My motor in my 34k mile 10 Grand Sport blew and took $8,000.00 so I really can't think of trading right now!
