Never buy from Exotic Euro parts
Just to warn everyone, don't fall into the trap I did. I ordered a spoiler from Exotic Euro Partst that comes unfinished. The add said require body work, prep, sanding, and primer before painting. I bought the spoiler took it to the body shop that did the work on our mustang and was told it could not be used because you can't add on to the part. When I tried to contact the vendor they would not return calls or answer emails. When I disputed the charge they showed the fine print "no claims on poor quality of product, or chips, or cracks". Make sure everyone knows to steer clear

That spoiler is just plain garbage, buy a Gm brand or a spoiler from one of the CF vendors, I bought one for my C6 that was already painted & ready to install

A few years ago at Corvettes at Carlisle, I bought a color matched spoiler from Gene Culley (vendor here on site, Cultrag) for about $200-220. Remember thats already painted to match AND installed!!! You cant beat that price with a stick. Give them a call, you wont be disappointed.

I learned the hardway as well and mine was with a CF vendor.
Always read the return policy and make sure you can live with it.
And yes that is a horrible spoiler - sorry for the issues.
As said before buy GM and sleep well at night. This is one part others have issues making

Aftermarket ad-ons sometimes require some fabrication for proper fit, hoods come to mind. But, what you received is an embarrassment.
In your shoes I'd contact my CC & demand they cancel payment due to 1) Quality so lousy it cannot be made right, no matter what.
2) Non-responsive seller whose attitude is, 'We got your $, so FU."
No way would I eat the cost. No chance, and I've done it in the past.
IF CC took side of seller, CC outfit would be fired that very day as sure as God made li'l green apples.
YMMV
So, how much are you into it for this thing?

I contacted discover and they would not reverse the charge because the fine print said they will not take returns on defective parts. Yes,, it will be paid off and closed this month

2 - unfortunately CC companies are within their rights to deny a claim if the vendor has a written policy that is provided and accessible to you that states no returns, returns within 10 days with a rma number.
The list goes on and on. The responsibilities in this case is on the card owner as he should know and understand that he is buying from a company that does not take returns. This is why I mention every chance I get on this forum that folks need to look at the return policy and refund policy of the vendor they are considering. Think worst case scenario and be prepared for it. If you can't live with worst case move on and find another supplier. I frankly think some of our vendors have return policies that are impossible to meet on purpose.

so basically any company can say we are going to sell you a POS product and it's up to you to make it work, and get away with it and send you crap
WOW how is that legal?
I would fight it, as their own terminology says that it can be done, but like you mentioned you cannot add filler to it to make it work, so technically it cannot be finished by a body shop.
I would contact the state attorneys office, send the crap they have on their return policy, pictures and a statement from your body shop stating it is impossible to finish the product to used to anyone's satisfaction.
I have used this method in the past with companies and they don't like it when they get a letter from the state attorneys office poking around.

Put Corvette Creationz on that list also. I feel your pain Sorry it happened to you. In my case too many man hours went into a hood that could not be fixed. The fiberglass was so thin and wavy that if you did any bodywork to it to make it straight the material you added to make it straight would be to heavy for the rest of the structure and would start to collapse under its own weight as you attempted the repair. No bodyman can fix that.

Here's the exact wording in their advertisement:
All our fiberglass items do require body work as listed and are unfinished, no claims on poor quality of product, or chips, cracks, defectiveness, fitment issues or waviness in the product will be accepted or tolerated, these products are clearly listed as unfinished and therefore it is your responsibility to finish the product to your own standards, fill in the defects and body work and that will determine the quality of the product you will have at the end result. Please note this is a blank canvas we are selling you, and as these are unfinished, these will have defects that will come out with the work necessary listed to be done by you.
I gotta say, if I wanted to buy something and I saw that, I would move right along to the next vendor. I hate to say it, but this company spelled it out pretty clearly that the buyer should beware. While I don't agree with them not working with you, they did make it abundantly clear that their parts may be really crappy and a lot of work may be required on your end.

Did they advertise this part as bein defective, and sell it at a discounted price? Because that's the only way I can see them not taking back the crap they sold you in the first place.
