Tire presure increase
13 c6 base
Will set tire preasure at 32 in morning. Later driving at 70 to 80 mph tires will rear 40 plus.
Is this normal?
Anything to worry about?
Thanks all

Pressures will always rise from cold temps to hot temps. 8* rise is quite a bit but if it's hot enough it's not unbelievable.

Pressure increase, especially in hot weather, is normal.
Is 32psi cold what your car tires are supposed to be though?

Realize, also, that the TPMS is not accurate to 1 psi.

Look at the tire. What does it say the maximum allowed pressure is? Are you getting a reading over that pressure? If not, everything should be okay.

30psi is the correct cold tire pressure.
Expect 1psi increase in tire pressure for each 10 degree increase in temp.

Are you getting the reading from the DIC?

8 p.s.i. is a big jump. Your air supply should be "dry" with as little moisture as possible.
