Default Vented supercharger hood

hey guys got some concerns I'm wanting to order the vented supercharger hood from ecklers corvette http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corvette-hood-supercharger-vented-2005-2012.html
it appears to be the same as other websites just less $$. My body shop is worried it won't be good quality and would require some effort to make it look and fit right if it'd even fit well at all. Has anyone ordered this hood before and and feedback on it? Here's a picture of said hood

I have the carbon version of this hood. Fitment is horrible.

Can you post some pictures if possible? Where did you order yours from?

I would talk to some of the better established shops to give you some direction.
Lingenfelter sells several hoods - he does not make them but could give some advice
These guys have a couple of options - they have been making Vette FRP parts for decades

Consider modifying a stock hood, the dollar factor likely is not far off from what you will have in an aftermarket hood.

You can count on spending several hundred to 1000.00 to make an aftermarket hood fit correctly. Just reality from what I have seen on the market.
