Speed is relative, yes there is always a danger. Go fast where you can and use common sense when you can't see a long ways ahead.
That is the beauty of bikes, escape routes, monster acceleration, monster brakes. You shift my 10r out of first at 106. Grab a handfull at triple digits and it will loft the front wheel for obscene distances. And all that equals .... FUN.
Why do we have sports cars? To look good and say it is fast?
I seldom speed on the freeway, but give me a lonely twisty road.....
The H2 is going to be a riot!
Also I am a sucker for any contest of speed. Not always smart but....
