Safety Car
The safety issue here is that you can't control what happens around and you at that speed you likely can't stop or manuver fast enough to avoid a unknown. I ride a lot of miles each year and I know how easy and tempting it is to really push it on roads you know well, but it's dangerous because of the unknowns that crop up without warning.
That is the beauty of bikes, escape routes, monster acceleration, monster brakes. You shift my 10r out of first at 106. Grab a handfull at triple digits and it will loft the front wheel for obscene distances. And all that equals .... FUN.
Why do we have sports cars? To look good and say it is fast?
I seldom speed on the freeway, but give me a lonely twisty road.....
The H2 is going to be a riot!
Also I am a sucker for any contest of speed. Not always smart but....
