I didn't know Mike but remember his avatar of the camel. Thought he may have served in the Gulf conflict and assumed he was fairly young. Sorry for your loss and condolences to his family.

Mike was a great asset here on the Forum. Always helpful and very knowledgeable of our Vettes.
I sent my next door neighbor (a dire hard Porsche-phile) to Mike when he decided to 'try' a new C7. Mike was gracious as always, and did what he could for a 'challenging' customer. We exchanged some PM's and I gained an even greater appreciation for the man and his tact.
He will surely be missed. So sad to lose one of the good ones.

Mike and I pretty much NEVER agreed on anything....having said that, still respected his opinion. Prayers go out to his family.

I can't believe what I just read.
Got to know Mike through the forum and met Mike and Jana down at the Corvette Museum several years back. Could tell instantly he was a great guy and my wife commented on how much you could just tell he adored his wife Jana.
I had never met Mike in person till that day in Bowling Green when he presented me with a Corvette pin and a CD with all his favorite music for our drive back to Minnesota. That will become even more special to us now.
Jana, with our deepest sympathy. May God be with you during this very difficult time. You and Mike will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to read this. Mike was one of the first to welcome me here. We had some fun threads back when I first joined. Mike had a pretty good wit.
RIP.

I don't hang out here much but remember his moniker and probably received some help from him at one time or another. Lots of valuable info from good guys here.
My condolences to the family and good friends RIP
