So it's official, the car is totaled. More frame damage was discovered that made it impossible to fix. Now the quest to find another begins.

You could buy it back from the insurance company and part it out. A lot of people do that to make a little money. Your buy back will most likely be less than what that they ask for at auto auctions. I'm actually looking at them near me in coparts. I'm trying to find a complete car to pull the engine from for my 55. It's cheaper to buy a complete car than to just buy an ls3.

You know that you hate that you are having to give up the current corvette due to the accident, but there will be another down the road which will make you feel a lot better about it all.
For me, my 2009 base AT was totaled out, and I found a 2011 GS 6M with less mileage and more options for almost what the insurance paid me. Couldn't be happier....

It doesnt look any worse than mine did after my wreck. See what the insurance company says. I got mine repaired 2x.
