I'll deny it all day long when you're talking about an auto trans 2014.

The C7 is the better car.. that's not really even up for debate. I love my C6 to death but I've driven the C7 and its much more refined.

2014 LT1 and the auto trans have had nothing but problems. A 2013 GS would be much more trouble-free, so I don't agree.

I just bought a 2012 GS and am very happy with it. That being said, if the price had been the same I ABSOLUTELY would have gone with a 2014 Stingray. I love my GS but the interior is like something out of the mid '90s. I also have the 1lt which is what I wanted since I don't drive very much and don't need any of the gadgets that come with the higher levels. My budget was $35k so there was no way I was getting into a 2014. I actually love the look of them though.

I don't recall the '14 autos having problems. The eight speeds are a whole different problematic animal. Wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole.

Unless you are looking for a car with very low miles, i don't think you are looking hard enough. There are (relatively speaking) quite a few 12/13 GS cars out there in the mid $30's.

If you have been wanting a GS, you will not be happy with a '14 stingray....JMO.

The C6 is "prettier", and more comfortable. The C7 has more B&W's.

I just bought my 2012 GS with 27k miles for 35k. It's a 1LT but thats what I wanted. Only options are the wheels and the NPP exhaust. It looks and drives pretty much like new.

I think the C6 GS is an especially good-looking car.

I've test-driven two C7s. The C7 feels more rigid, less flexy.

The rear end of the C7 only looks good in dark colors in my opinion.

The Stingray makes torque comparable to the C6 Z06 up to about 4K RPM, so they're pretty fast.

If you're interested in a manual-shift car, the C7 shifter works well and the clutch has a light feel.

The C7 seats are a big improvement. Chevrolet finally eliminated the rocking seat problem.

The C7 electronics/infotainment are greatly improved.

Visibility from the C6 is excellent, although I didn't have any problem with the rearward view from the C7.
