A serious question....any idea about time frame for these vehicles to start to make their way into the used car market?

I'm from Maryland so I imagine it will take a little time...but you never know. I guess when I buy I will stick to local trade-in cars. Even that strategy isn't foolproof.

Days to weeks. TherThere will be some cars that will be dried out, cleaned up, and everything will work right off the bat. Those will be title washed and put up for sale in a matter of weeks.

Most of these cars will get a Certificate of Destruction. Meaning for parts only. A lot of them will end up in Kentucky. Kentucky is one of the few states that can convert a Certificate of Destruction into a red Kentucky salvage title. There are several dealers that sell them on Ebay but they don't disclose former Certificate of Destruction they say it will have a Kentucky salvage title. Any state that does a full title search will not allow the car to be titled. So beware of red Kentucky salvage titles!
