A serious question....any idea about time frame for these vehicles to start to make their way into the used car market?
I'm from Maryland so I imagine it will take a little time...but you never know. I guess when I buy I will stick to local trade-in cars. Even that strategy isn't foolproof.

Most of these cars will get a Certificate of Destruction. Meaning for parts only. A lot of them will end up in Kentucky. Kentucky is one of the few states that can convert a Certificate of Destruction into a red Kentucky salvage title. There are several dealers that sell them on Ebay but they don't disclose former Certificate of Destruction they say it will have a Kentucky salvage title. Any state that does a full title search will not allow the car to be titled. So beware of red Kentucky salvage titles!
