Composed entirely of a strong extruded aluminum and designed to fit your 2005 & Up C6 Corvette perfectly, this mesh radiator screen is the best and most economical way to save your car from overheating.
You will be amazed at what you find in front of your cedensor when you clean it out to install your mesh radiator screen! Think about it, your car is a huge vacuum, when your fan kicks on. You have no idea how much debris is getting wedged inside there.

C5 owners know bottom breathing makes it a virtual vacuum cleaner, sucking up all kinds of debris. Eventually caused cooling issues w/ some members.
This screen might work for C5, C6 breathes mostly through front & thank God for that.

They only have 1...because that's all the scrap "high strength, high quality extruded aluminum mesh" they had on hand.

Ebay purchase quantity defaults to "1" but the listing clearly shows that they have "more than 10 available" - having sold 18.

Actually a new C5 owner I met recently at a local get-together said his car was having overheat problems. He recently bought the car out in Wyoming I think and drove it back here to Maryland. He told me he pulled the radiator and it was literally packed with feathers and some kind of fur. He used water, brushes and air-conditioner condenser spray on cleaner to get the accumulated guck out. Sounded gross to me. In this case the screen might have been helpful.

That is just plain old aluminum expanded metal. Nothing special at all. I have it in my product line. You can buy the steel version at Home Depot or Lowes. For that small piece, the difference in weight from aluminum to steel would be almost nothing.

Or you could do what I did. Buy window screen material, the fiberglass type and use silicone adhesive to keep it in place. Less material and lighter than steel. Works great at keeping all kinds of debris from getting into the radiator area. Very

Maybe they'd sell more of them if they'd dip it in Hydrocarbon!
