Default Looking for a tuner Okla area

Any of the Oklahoma crowd know of any decent tuners in OKC or near the area? I've been putting off getting the car tuned since the SC was installed.

Thanks

What SC?

And, it is not tuned at all? Is it something like the E-Force with the canned SCT tune, or another SC with a startup tune?

No, its a Vortech. I guess I should say it is mounted and almost completely piped. It's dumping all boost right now. I have to install intake pipe, plugs, and injectors. Was just going to take it to a tuner and have them do it .

Yeah, cannot help you with a tuner in OKC and I know that was your Q.

If you want to drive to a tuner once you find one, you can install everything except the injectors. You can run the entire install except injectors if you keep it out of boost and out of PE. Then, when you get to the tuner, just have them install the bigger injectors or do it yourself in the parking lot. But if you install those w/o the updated injector data in the tune, it is not going to run well enough to drive if at all.

And - assuming if you have an LS2 you're moving from 40lb to 60 lb injectors, or an LS3 43lb to 60 or 80 lb?

If any of that question is true, you don't want to try to install the bigger injectors and drive the car.

how about contacting the guys from Street Outlaws? I think Dave, Chuck and Justin all have shops.

If they can't help you I am sure they can recommend someone. There used to be a shop on Douglas and 15th that had a chassis dyno- not sure if it's till there.

I found about a dozen tuners on google maps in OKC.

In addition to the TV "street racing" guys I mentioned before.
