How do you get the oil spout out of the valve cover? It looks like it should be a simple twist and turn based on the design (I have a new one to compare) but I cannot get mine to budge. Any tips? I don't want to force it and break it off. Thanks.

I think your right, just twist off. My black chrome oil cap was stuck one time and the filler came loose instead of the cap. Did not take it out but did have to hold it to get the cap off.

Those things can be really tight sometimes. I have used adjustable pliers to gently remove one, but be careful not to crack it.
