Default Got the Sirius/XM renewal today, what's the best rate now?

Got the renewal letter today which means the dreaded negotiations will begin. I just hate dealing with these people. Last time I got a $99 one year deal which would up costing about $112 if I remember right. What is the best deal out there right now?

I renewed when Sirius/XM offered the Beatles channel. I paid $99 plus taxes and royalties...$112??? Can't remember the exact amount.

I canceled mine today for the winter. I pick it back up in the spring for $30 for 6 months. I have never had any trouble dealing with them.

Are you guys crazy paying that amount or maybe you just have too much money. Here is my last bill which is the same as every other bill I ask for.

Not to Hijack the OP's thread, but I bought my C6 from Carmax on July 30th. I didn't sign up for any XM service but have had full radio since my purchase. Is it possible that the car had a lifetime subscription or am I going to get a renewal notice from XM even though I never signed up for the trial?

You need to cancel your current subscription and they will start offering you different price points. Don't say yes till they get to the 5 months for $24.99. I have done this for the last 5 yrs. Very

I believe that most of the time if a car is purchased from a dealership (either a Ford, Chevy, Honda, or Carmax) you will get a 90-day free trial of XM (if the car is equipped with XM). This happened with both my Corvette when I got it in February and a '13 Ford Escape that I got in March.

5 months for $24.99 for the last few years. It’s a pain every 5 months but worth it

Your car probably sat for several months and the radio was not used. The previous owner most likely canceled the subscription after he traded it in and your car never got the “kill” signal. You may never hear from them so enjoy your free XM radio.

You have a 90 day trial subscription. Log into the Sirius website and out in your radio number. It'll show when your trial expires.

I don't know how you folks got the prices you did. My lowest option after my trial was $10/month.

You have to CALL them and tell them they are to high and you are ready to disconnect. Tell them you have a friend that gets it for $30 for 6 months. You WILL get it?
