Default Washed my car in the rain.

Ok I'm not that obsessive but I was in the garage and could not figure out what a really rank smell was. I soon realized it was coming from the wheel well of the Vette.

The road kill I though I'd successfully avoided was not totally missed.
So before I thew up I went to the wash rack in the rain and thoroughly sprayed down the wheels in the rain , while people thought I was crazy.

I have actually gone out and washed mine in the rain in the driveway. Rainwater is excellent for the final rinse. After the rain stopped I dried it with a towel and had no water spots at all.

I do it all the time. I live in a garden apt in a complex. We don't have water outside so when it rains I fill my soap bucket in the house, go wash my car and let the rain take the suds off. I get a little wet doing this but hey so what. For a normal wash like in the cooler weather I go to my brothers house which is only a couple of blocks away.

You washed your car in the rain, then drove it home in the rain, so now it has road grime all over it, so when it stops raining, you will have to wash it again....at least the smell is gone. It never ends....wax on, wax off.

No, the C3 thing is to not drive during the day because the sun will fade the paint.

And you're not officially crazy until you wash the car in below freezing temperatures ... in the snow. Yes, I've done that several times.

Depending the area you are located, I don't see the problem. Some places by me have acid rain because of the local manufacturing plants, so I wouldn't wash it outside in those areas, but otherwise, why not?!
