We have the Capital City Corvette Classic on Mother's Day weekend in Jefferson City, MO. There is a Corvette country road cruise (80 - 100 miles) on Friday and the show on Saturday is on the grounds in front of the capital building.

Another Yes for Corvette Weekend in Eureka Springs, AR.

There is also Corvette Expo in Loudon, TN. It is this coming weekend. They are having a cruise on the Tail of the Dragon (US 129) on Friday and hope to break the record of 435 Vettes in the cruise.

If you are planning to do the plant tour you will have to make that one of your later stops. The plant tour is presently closed to the public due to retooling. It closed in April and should remain closed for a total of 18 months according to GM. The NCM Motorsport Park track is a great course. I have driven it a number of times.

Enjoy your travels.

Your new fuel stations will be truck stops. To keep the truckers happy pull your motor home away from the pumps before you go in to pay for your fuel. A lot of the Flying J stops have free dump stations along with water and propane.

Thx Bop, I'm a retired truck driver, but I appreciate any help I can get... like the dump station thing!

Enjoy your trips. I am retiring at Thanksgiving and really looking forward to it. 69 L46 beat me to it, since I was going to say that the Museum and track are open, but the plant tours are down till 2019. Stay safe and take lots of pictures.

Come up to Coburg Oregon and visit Marathon Coach and pick up one of their 2018 models. They can custom build you a matching trailer as well.

Lots of great Corvette Clubs and Owners in Oregon and Washington.

Fishing options are almost unlimited. Pacific Ocean, Puget Sound, Columbia River and literally thousands of lakes and streams.

Best of luck with the next phase of your retirement.

Wish we could afford a new Marathon, those coaches are awesome!
We will definitely be visiting that area!
Thank you.

Exciting times, for sure. Leaving from Texas after the first of the year so I'm guessing you will head east or west, not north. There are a number of car related things to do throughout the country...such as the Don Garlits museum and Daytona in Florida, Peterson Museum in CA, El Mirage dry lake racing, the big Bakersfield swap meet, the NHRA Museum, Bonneville Salt Flats, Darryl Starbird Museum in OK, World of Speed Museum and American Truck Historical Society in OR.
One lap of America coming up!!!

Will definitely put those museums on the list and probably the swap meet, although room will be limited in the RV.
Thx Ruxy!

Yes it is a VERY NICE set up.
I'm going to get a 20' and I don't need all those accessories as I'm not going racing. Thank you for pointing it out though

I have received a few dates to put on the calendar thanks for all the input.
Now to find an RV

Of course we will hit the big events like Carlisle, Las Vegas and Miami, But we also want to visit smaller shows and meet new friends.
If your club hosts a show let me know. We are going to put places and dates on a map and get in as much fun as we can.
Plan on hittin the road after the new year...
Might even start up a YouTube channel featuring all the shows.
Hopefully we can meet some of our Forum friends and see those awesome Vettes!
Will keep ya posted. Thanks all !!
Hey Choppy, have you seen the 24' cargo trailer on the Buy & Sell forum? One of the nicest I have seen!

I did and it's crazy nice!
We need a 20' trailer which we will buy new. We just won't use all those accessories. If we were traveling to race the car it would be perfect.
The over all length limit of 65' also comes into play here.
We're leaning towards a 37-40' Super C motor home. The tow capabilities are outstanding and with the motor in the front under a hood we can get maintenance done at most truck stops. They don't have the storage space of a diesel pusher but I like the Big-truck look (retired truck driver coming out in me)...

We would really like to try and attend a show or rally/meet/cruise in every state. So if anyone has suggestions please post or PM me as some have already done.
The support here is awesome as usual !!
Thx all
