Awesome! Love that you're doing this! Living your best life.

Now tell us, which gets better mpg, the zr1 or the diesel pusher?? I know my last tank gave me an average 9.8mpg, and I'm only a base c6.

I found out that traveling in a huge RV is a big endeavor. Of course we want to go to Corvette shows but with the site seeing and visiting family we havnt seen in a long time it is very time consuming. We made our way back toward DFW to hit a couple fall shows... then down to Louisana to visit friends.
We are now in Mission Texas (since Oct.) and the car scene here is crazy. Summer here exceeds triple digits every day so when the nice 80 deg winter days come so do the shows and the racing. Car meets, shows and drag racing every weekend. We have joined the Rio Grande Valley Corvette club as well. I have a ton of pictures but wont bore you with those here. If you would like to see them on Instagram...ls9_bobby... the page is public.
Thanks to everyone here on the Forum and to those we have met on the way.

I was thinking about a time I was playing blackjack in Laughlin, Nevada. The dealer casually asked where everyone was from. Most were from California, but one guy answered "Wherever I park it". He went on to say he was in Bullhead City, Arizona right then, but whenever the mood struck them, his wife and he would take off in the RV and go wherever they wanted. He had set everything up for mail, banking, etc. I've often thought how I might enjoy that lifestyle.

I've been to it twice now and it's a great show. It goes by the name "Plastic Fantastic". Also up it Prescott Arizona in the later part of September they have a corvette show that's held in the square around the court house in downtown Prescott.

It's been a year and so far so good. Sorta like being on a permanent vacation. You need to be flexible with your planning. We were preparing to leave for a Florida winter when hurricane Michael came thru so we came down closer to South Padre.
After seeing the beauty of Colorado and going on some of the "jeep trails" into the high mountain pass meadows- well it can take your breath away. I'm tempted to give up the Corvette and make a life style change when this trip is over...
If you want to experience something special go to Silverton Colorado, rent a jeep for the day and take the trail to Lake City.

We were planing on the Prescott show but the front AC went out and spent too much time in the shop. Will catch it this next year.
