Who has these and are you pleased with them? More specifically, any drone at highway speeds? Chip, I know your opinion so let others weigh in. Love the start up and exceleration but just do not want drone.

I have you tubed this to death. Never find the highway speed sound.

No drone. The Sports just let you hear the engine during acceleration, some sound at cruise too but it isn.t drone.

I have Corsa Sports with Long Tubes and cats, no drone at any speed.

Couldn't be more false. Every car is different based on the mods we do to them. On my 2006 Z06, with long tubes, x-pipe and cam, my Corsa Sports droned HORRIBLY on the highway between 1400 and 1600 RPM. I could feel my head starting to implode. I sold them and put an OEM NPP system on and in quiet mode they have zero drone, but in wild mode they drone even worse than the Corsa's did.

You shouldn't make blanket statements when all of our cars are different and react to mods like exhausts differently.

Interesting. My last Vette had the Corsa Sports on it and no headers. Didn't drone at all at any speed/RPM. I loved them.

My new Vette has headers and Borla S Type and will drone in the 1400-1800 range. I wondered if I'd get the same response from the Corsa.

Exactly. Different cars, different mods will all cause exhaust systems to sound (and drone) differently. My point was simple... People who say "Corsa's don't ever drone" aren't doing anyone favors. There are plenty of people on here who say the exact opposite. Just because the Corsa doesn't drone on YOUR car with YOUR mods doesn't mean it won't for others.

Not to get into the argument, but I have read of others who've said their Corsa exh. did drone, but the reputation is that generally, they don't drone. Maybe it's a personal thing, just as some people don't care if it drones and/or don't really hear it if it's relatively low. Loud, low, rumbling, head-thumping drone, however, is hard to deny. I've been in the cars that have it, and I'd never own one.

Maybe you should read those threads yourself. In all but two of them, the drone was the result of a fault from somewhere else, such as a dent in a muffler, and in the other two the claim was subjective at best.

No mods to my Vette. So I will go with hoping no drone.

No mods on my 07 and no drone with Corsa Sport. Vast improvement over the previous older version of Borla that droned horribly around 1700 rpm.

I can agree totally with that. Years ago when I originally had my blower, headers and offroad with Sport it droned like a monster. People who say "Corsa has no drone ever period" are totally uneducated or put way to much faith in the the good ole internet!
