More Beautiful
So just an interesting question, without trying to start WW3.Am I the only one that thinks the C6 is much more beautiful, with cleaner more classic lines and detail, than the newer and much more vaunted C7?

Full disclosure, I own a C6 and not a C7. That being said, I do like the looks of the C6 better. The C7 looks a little too futuristic for me. It probably has to do with the relative newness of the C7. I vaguely remember feeling similarly about the C5 when the C6 was still a relatively new design.

I love them both. I went C6 cause its what I could afford. If money wasnt an issue Id get the C7. Probably cause Im a younger Corvette owner and like the aggressive looks of the C7. Im average size, 5'10 190. So I fit nicely in the C7. It is a little more cramped than my C6 but isnt an issue for me like it is for some people. I do look getting a C7 down the line though.

I think the C6 does look better than the narrow C7. However the C7Z and grand sport are a lot more aggressive and look much better. If given the choice, I still think I'd take a ZR1 over any C7

Uhh..... no, you are certainly not. And I actually think you are in good company. Too many to count have suggested they will "skip the C7" and wait on the C8. My opinion: The C7 looks like a corvette that's trying really hard not to be a corvette, and that's the best I can explain it.

Vetty Interesting -- I drove my C6 Torch Red Grandsport Coupe into the gas station the other day ... already there was a guy filling up his Torch Red C7 ... So I pull in near him and tell him "Nice Car" -- he replies back "You too!"
He leaves and I hear from a nice lady across the other gas island -- she says " I like your's better!"

you are correct, in my humble opinion the C6 wide body cars are the best looking Corvettes ever built. I looked at and drove a C7 before I bought my 2013 GS for me it was an easy choice. C6 all the way

I was driving with my wife the other day in my truck and we happen to be next to a red C7 grand sport and I asked her if she liked the car. Her reply was "no, it looks like a transformer".

The C3 is beautiful and I would love to have a '71 fully restored. However, in my opinion, the most beautiful is the 1962 C1. Of course it would have to be a restomod with modern underpinnings and drivetrain....but that body style is the epitome of Corvette.

I last 3 Corvettes I have owned were the C6. When the first C7 came out I thought they were ugly. Now I think they are a great looking Corvette . Only certain colors and the right wheels make the car.Im ole school but I hate black wheels on any Corvette

I like the smooth lines of the C6 without all the body clutter, too many vents and scoopes of different colors. The angular designs are the future, look at Lambo’s and fighter planes Etc. I went to Bachman Chevrolet in Louisville last week and looked at them and while there are things I like about the C7’s there are more things that I don’t like. The thing that struck me was the interior seemed a lot smaller, I prefer the more open interior of the C6. Can’t see out the C7’s back window very well. They are giving super deals on 17’s and some 18’s right, now but I am waiting for the C8’s. Next Vette will have black wheels and I am old....

I like the C7 better... I could do without some of the black air duct grills, but overall I think its much better looking. There are C5 guys that say they prefer the looks of the C5 over the C6.. I can see where they are coming from, but overall each generation looks better than the previous one. It's also difficult to compare the looks of the C1-C3 vettes with C4-C7 vettes. ALL the early vettes look great. However, I do like the "wedge" shape for sports cars, and as dated as the C4 looks- It gave birth to the wedge we all love.
I love that there is a corvette for everyone, in every budget.
I'll gladly take a M7 lime rock green w/ Z51 one day!
