And She Drove Into My Heart Forever
How's that for a sappy title?!?!
I'm one of you now!
Got my new (to me) Grand Sport Saturday morning. Love this thing! Got it from CarMax (can't say enough good things about them), I had them transport it from one of their Florida stores, added their 5 year warranty on it, and now I'm good to go!
It's a 2010 GS (obviously!), 19k miles, 6 speed, 3LT, Crystal Red w/ gray and black two tone interior, and heritage pkg.
Below is a lousy video of them bringing it out to me, and a few pics. Btw, the guy who lives across the street in pic 3 has a yellow Gallardo - let's race!! Just kidding.
Funny music things, when my alarm went off Saturday morning, they were playing Little Red Corvette by Prince, and when I started it up to leave the dealership, Aint That America by John Mellencamp was playing.

Very nice!
Just my opinion, but I think that Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat paint is the nicest looking red that was ever avail for a Corvette (it's also a $300 option)
Disclaimer: I am not bias because I also have a Crystal Red C6 ... In fact, mine is Supersonic Blue Tintcoat

Is the fee $900 a standard charge for transportation or is it depending on how far. I was looking at a GS C-7 in Florida and they quoted that price ?

It depends on how far away it is. I paid $540 from Boynton Beach, Florida to here in DFW. Can't really beat the price IMO. That cost does not go toward the cost of the car, though.

I would have to agree with all of the replies. while I am partial, as I also have the CRM version, I wasn't originally looking for this.
other black ( love it, but a lot of work to keep "clean" ),
or white ( not enough personality for me ), I was open minded.
saw the CRM on craigs list, and that was it. the torch red was too intense for my taste. the CRM or the blue equivalent would be my choice.

Congrats. I also have Crystal Red. My favorite color is Magnetic Red followed by CRM. Can't go wrong with either.
