New interior-innovations seats done and installed!
I promised all of you I would post pics when the job was done, and here they are. The seat covers are perfect, they are a nice tight fit, and the quality is top-notch. I removed the seats myself, but decided to take them to a retired auto upholstery guy to have the covers put on.
I also installed the "seat bottom repair kit" which consists of extra foam to pump up the bolsters, a jute pad, and a ballistic nylon pad, both to aid in seat firmness, and to protect the foam from the wires. That was a great idea, and I will not do the job again without using that product.
The seat cover install did not go real well, but ended well. The guy had never done anything newer than mid-70's, so he did not pay close attention to the side air bag printing, and got them on the wrong sides. So, he had to redo that.
Then, I noticed that he did not put the side trim piece inside the frame, so it was sticking out from the seat. As it was my 3rd trip to his place, 55 miles round trip, I decided to take them, and fix that myself, which was not hard at all. I also painted the tan side trim piece satin black.
All in place...I am really happy. I have to clean up the rest of the interior a bit, but the seats really make the car look great. I will be selling the car soon, I hope, and buying a little newer convertible.
I would buy from I-I again, without even having to think about it.

looks great..................
Bobby, the covers from I - I are very reasonably priced......... put a set on my prior coupe and as mentioned here, and other posts by those who used them, high quality, good fit, not too bad to install and less than 1/3 of what some others sell covers for................

II seat covers
In the pictures they appear to be cashmere and ebony. How is the match up of the cashmere to the OEM cashmere color ? They look great. Now if I can get II to return my call or email they will have another sale. Thanks for the pictures.

IIRC you had concerns re the Corv. logo and the word on the headrest. All installed, I have to agree with the prior consensus: it looks great---the entire, overall look of the seats. Really nice. I agree about you may want to stay in the car a little longer to enjoy it.
