Default St Michaels Maryland car museum Parade (Pics)

Drove my Callaway in the St Michaels parade today sponsored by the "Classic Motor Museum" located there. It was their grand opening. 56 cars participated. There was a reception at the museum after the parade. Good time chatting with friends and patients there. The were 5 Corvettes from a club on the western shore that showed up, nice to meet and talk to the owners. The museum has a "cars and coffee" every Saturday that has been well attended. it is worth a visit if you are in the area, and St Michaels is a great water front tourist town with lots of good restaurants if you a looking for a cruise in destination .

Nice turnout. Why are they all wearing jackets??? We are looking at almost 90 degrees on Thanksgiving.

For some reason; and I don't really know why, but I keep getting the strange feeling that it's really cold in that place.

Don't even look sunny outside ... Look, everyone is wearing heavy jackets.

What's up with that?

Mr.owc6 was asked to pipe in that parade, but couldn't due to a scheduling conflict. He had to pipe at an event in Easton. I was disappointed because it sounded like more fun than most of his piping gigs.

One of my favorite places to drive/sail to when we lived in Maryland.

Thanks for the pics.

Reminds me of shows I went to in a friends Cobra in the fall. Cold as hell but worth the fun.

They have put a lot of effort into getting the museum up and running over the last two years. There will be a roatating display of different cars. This county in Maryland is a popular retirement location with all the waterfront, and there is a lot of money here. I hear stories of the hidden gems and car collections tucked in the garages and barns here. It is amazing what shows up at the cars and coffee mornings. The same owner will bring a different car each week.

And yes it the middle of November and it is cold here in Maryland
